Headboard pieces almost done

Here you can see the two boards up against each other, looking almost finished.  From here, it will take careful sanding to get it just right.

I wish I had drilled the holes in the top part before I cut the waste off the top edge.  Having the top curved will make it tricky to drill holes in the lower curve of that top piece.

After I drill the holes, then I'll need to get the slats inserted just right.
